Natural Remedies for Freckles
Anti-freckle solutions, as well as other skincare products have all
spawned out of natural remedies. You can still consult some of these
remedies, for they too help in reducing the dark pigments in the face.

- One remedy you can do is to wash your face with sour milk.
Lactic acid has mild peeling effects without the irritation or
drying of the skin. Milk also keeps your skin moisturized so you
don’t have to worry about pale, dry skin while getting rid of
freckles.
- Others meanwhile opt to scrub their faces with lemon rinds. The
citrus juice also produce the same effects as other exfoliants in a
more natural way, so you won’t have to worry about side effects.
Lemon juice also gets rid of dead skin cells, thus you are left with
smoother and more vibrant skin.
- There are other fruits which can be used as masks to help even
out the pigments on the face. Fruits such as cucumbers, red currant,
strawberries and apricots do the job well. Natural parsley juice
meanwhile when mixed with adequate amounts
of
lemon, orange and red currant juice are also a good concealer for
freckles.
- Watermelon-rice mask- Get a watermelon and make a hole in its
rind where you can insert some grains of rice. Leave it for one
week, and afterwards grind it to form a paste which you will apply
on your face. In a few weeks the uneven pigments in your face will
be reduced.
-
Red
onion slices can also remove freckles. Do this by scrubbing an onion
half on your face everyday until the freckles disappear.
- Honey can also be used to soften the pigment of the freckles.
Apply some heated honey on the face and tap it gently using your
fingers. Then wash the honey off with warm water, and then rinse
your face with cold water.
- Castor oil or vitamin E extract can also be used by applying
them on the face before going to bed.
